Jack Neo's comedy franchise about recruits going through BMT on Pulau Tekong. The most well-known NS movies, and the closest thing to a shared cultural reference for enlistees. Start here if you want a feel for basic military training before you go in.

Ah Girls Go Army
Jack Neo's female spin-off, told in two parts. Set in a fictional near-future where women are conscripted, it follows the first batch of female recruits through BMT. Same comedy formula as Ah Boys, from the female-recruit angle.

Army Daze (1996)
A classic NS comedy based on Michael Chiang's play. Follows a group of recruits from very different backgrounds thrown together in the same bunk. Older than Ah Boys to Men, but the BMT and bunk-life experience is instantly recognisable.

Zombiepura (2018)
Singapore's first widescreen zombie film. A lazy reservist on guard duty has to survive when a virus turns his camp into zombies, teaming up with the commander he can't stand. Plays NS reservist life and camp tropes for laughs.

Every Singaporean Son (documentary)
Not a movie, but the most useful watch here. This is the official documentary series that follows real recruits through BMT on Pulau Tekong. It is shown to pre-enlistees, so it is the closest you get to seeing actual BMT before you enlist, without the comedy exaggeration. Later seasons cover SCS and other stages.
