How to calculate your ORD
Full-time NS is 2 years. Your ORD is your enlistment date plus 2 years.
If you're PES A or B1 and clear your Pre-Enlistee IPPT (61 points, at least 1 per station), you skip the 8-week Physical Training Phase. That's about 56 days off, so your service is roughly 1 year 10 months instead.
- Standard: enlistment + 2 years
- With the IPPT reduction: enlistment + 2 years - 56 days
See what to do before enlisting for how to clear the Pre-Enlistee IPPT in time, and the PES guide for who qualifies.
What the numbers mean
- Days left: calendar days from today to your ORD.
- Weekends left: how many Saturdays are left before you ORD.
- Working days left: weekdays only (Mon to Fri). This does not subtract leave, public holidays, or duties, so treat it as a rough weekday count.
- Progress: how far through you are. The enlistment date defaults to your ORD minus 2 years, so progress is marked approximate. Change it to your real enlistment date (for example if you got the 8-week IPPT reduction) and it becomes exact.
